The Akins Family - Seriously Cute and Fun Photo Session!

Good Morning! It's Saturday!!  Wedding Day for my couple Nathan and Shelby. :)

Before I'm off to start the day I wanted to get this VERY FUN family session on for you. Let me back track a little bit and say that this session has been a long time in the making.  It was first planned for last Fall and Jill wanted something different and fun.  I was thinking ahead and actually bought this very couch with Jill and Isaac's family session in mind.  Then because of schedule craziness we had to reschedule the shoot - this time for Spring. Well........ little Piper broke her arm and had a bright pink cast on it for weeks.  Finally the cast came off and we got their session done. In my opinion the timing was perfect and we couldn't have had a prettier morning for it.

Isaac helped me set the couch outside and we took off with the session. The girls loved it and dare I say the parents did too. :)  Not to mention the photographer. ;)  I love easy sessions and this was very easy and natural.

Norb and Jenn - Married!

Wedding Post!!!  It's June 1st and I have to question whether it is October 1st. It feels like Fall outside. But the day that Norb and Jenn got married 2 weeks ago it felt like the heat of August. 

This couple is so special. Jenn and I have gotten to know each other and have shared some great talks and even a few tears throughout the time of her engagement.  The day of the wedding I truly felt that it was one of my girlfriends getting married and not someone who booked me as vendor.

I love the way Norb treats Jenn. He is so so sweet to her as she is also to him.  They have a lot of the important things in life in common and I know they're going to have a LONG, happy marriage.

The Homan Family

Without a doubt I've enjoyed photographing this family so much over the last couple of years.  Not only are they fun to photograph but they are just the kind of people that are nice to know. :)

Jeremy and Tara brought their little girls over recently for their family photo shoot.  I never realized how comical the youngest, Ellee, was until this shoot.  I think she came out of her shell and was full of funny insight and ideas.  She was a hoooooooooot.  Then sweet Emma had just the right spot in mind for some photos but the sun was screaming at that spot until the end of our session.  As soon as shade took the spot Emma was right there waiting for me with such a lady like pose in mind. So sweet.

I've got a few favorites from the night... some are pretty, some are silly and some are just plain sweet!

The Billington Family

Good Morning my faithful blog readers!! I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. How fortunate we are in America have freedom. I am grateful for those who fight for our nation. 

This morning I have a very sweet family to share with you. The last time I photographed the Billington family they were a family of 3. Now they are a family of 4. :)  Matt and Jennifer have the sweetest kids ever.  Both are so congenial and are truly at ease in front of the lens.  There is something so fun about photographing brothers.

We really had a perfect summer (late Spring if we're being technical) evening for their session. Thank you Matt and Jennifer I appreciate you.
