Andy and Traci - Celina, OH Snow Session

It's Wednesday! Half way through the week. It is hard to believe that 5 days ago I took this photo of Andy and Traci in the BEAUTIFUL snow.  Now look outside - BOO... I don't like this bare ground.

Andy and Traci were another couple scheduled last Fall when I lost my father in law. They were also so very gracious in rescheduling and opted for Winter photos.  They were so happy they waited and so was I. Truly, we had a ball together. It was downright frigid on Friday night.  We did our session in spurts.  We would head out, then head in... we repeated this cycle until it got dark. We wanted to try a few night-time shots. Easier said than done when your hands are freezing and the wind is blowing. But we managed a few shots in the dark and called it a night.

What an absolute fun time we had.  Thanks so much Traci and Andy.I loved your beautiful home and your dogs too.  I am really looking forward to wedding day in May. We'll have FUN!

Myles and Amy - Snowy Engagement session #3.

My friends take a look outside right now. If you are located close to my vicinity you know it is gross outside.  The snow was so much more beautiful than this rain, wind and the random thunderstorm that we had in the middle of the night.  Snow makes beautiful photos like this one of Myles and Amy... Today's weather doesn't even allow me to get the camera out of the bag.  

Once again....... a truly fun engagement session. Myles and Amy were on my books for last Fall but had to be rescheduled due to the sudden death of my father in law.  Right away they said they would wait until we had snow.  I looked at my calendar from 2011 and noticed that we had a LOT of snow this time last year so I put them on the calendar for January 19. As their session approached last Thursday Amy called and said even if we didn't have snow they still wanted to do them. At that point it didn't look like we would have the snow. But.......... that day we had the most gorgeous snow fall.  Amy and I texted back and forth several times that day, both excited about the snow.

This was my first time meeting Myles. And I've just got to say that they are such a great match.  He was so sweet to her the whole time. They're actually pretty hilarious together and we shared some laughs and some Brrrrrrrrr moments but we accomplished a fantastic session together.

Eloise - Fashionista Baby

Oh Eloise - you are such a pretty baby.  I always know when I see Eloise that there will be some sort of fashion involved. This time when I was scheduling E's session her momma, Julie, asked if she could bring her shoes.... admitting that she knew that Eloise would never get to wear all of them. Me being a lover of shoes said... YES, of course!  She came loaded with shoes and we had a fun session.  As you browse through you will notice her great head band - or as I like to call them - Baby Fascinator's. Rewind to the Royal wedding last year. :) Fascinator's everywhere.

Trent and Kim - Another Snowy E-Session

Good Morning. It's Friday. I woke up before my alarm anticipating a 2 hour delay for my daughter.  Nope... I had to wake the bug up at 6:30. :(  No such luck for her.

But lucky for you (I think) because you get to see a sneak peek of Trent and Kim's snowy engagement session.  All I can say about this couple is that they are FUN and goofy and it was fun to capture their personalities last weekend. Theirs was my second engagement session of the day.  Oh what fun.  Kim wore a bright pink coat and a cute hat for part of the pics and they suited her to a tee.

Buzz and Katie - A Snowy Engagement Session

Oh how I love engagement sessions. I am so excited to share this one with you. Buzz and Katie are having a winter wedding in February so we got them warmed up for winter photos with a cold engagement shoot.   It was a lot of fun. It was perfect outside that day with the snow coming down beautifully!  I didn't realize I was actually cold until I got in my vehicle and turned my bun warmers on. It took much longer to warm up than I thought it would. But....... totally worth it.

Dancing with the Arc Stars 2012

What an honor it is again this year to photograph Dancing with the Arc Stars! I can't wait until the event on February 17.  Last Year's event was so incredible.  It's one of those things that is hard to put into words. To read last year's blog post click-here.  American Style Ballroom so graciously donates their services to Easter Seals by providing dance lessons to the partners.  For some it is their first time putting on dance shoes and for others it may be somewhat familiar.

Last week I headed to Fort Wayne to capture a rehearsal in progress. What FUN it is for me to capture this event.  It brings me such joy to watch the dancers through my lens and to see the smiles and interactions between the partners.  For more information on this very special event click here.  I would love it if some of my faithful blog readers could come to the event.  Check it out! Baby Love

Hey Friends. Happy Hump Day.  Whenever Izzy is out of school on Monday's it always throws me off for the rest of the week. Here we are at Wednesday but it seems like Tuesday. :)

A week ago tonight I had precious little Addison here for her 3 month photo shoot. She was simply precious in her little Valentine outfit. Her little heart leggings were so cute!  Addison is the daughter of one of my former wedding couples, Josh and Melissa. I'm so honored every-time a former wedding couple lets me embark on this part of their lives. Thanks Josh and Melissa. We'll do it again in 3 months and I promise... the 6 month session will be easier. :)

And here we have Baby Brecken. He came for his 8 month session last week also. Such a HAPPY little man.  I always know when he comes that it will be an easy session. Hopefully I have not jinxed myself. His eyes are bright blue and his smile beams from ear to ear.  Brecken melts my heart.  His big sister Noel came along for the shoot - although she wasn't getting her photos taken that day.  She was so precious and just played with dolls as I took Brecken's photos. Sweetness.
